Last Qubit

Cookies are small files that a website can save in your browser. Some sites also use local storage, which works in a similar way. This page explains what lastqubit.com saves, and why.

We store nothing by default

Visit this site, read the pages, follow the links, and nothing is written to your browser. That is also why you have not seen a cookie banner: we have nothing to ask you about.

We do not use Google Analytics or any other analytics service. We do not run ads. We do not pass information about your visit to advertising networks, and nobody here is building a profile of you.

The videos on our game pages

Some pages include a YouTube video. We load these through YouTube’s privacy-enhanced service, which means nothing is requested from YouTube until you press play. If you do play one, YouTube saves its own cookies to remember playback settings and to count views. Those cookies belong to Google rather than to us, and Google’s privacy policy covers them. If you would rather they were never set, do not play the video, or block third-party cookies in your browser.

The contact form

Our contact form sends us your message by email. It does not save a cookie, and it does not track you before or after you use it. What happens to the information you send is covered in our privacy policy.

Server logs

Like most web servers, ours keeps access logs recording which pages were requested and from which IP address. These are used for security and for diagnosing faults. They are not cookies, they are not visible to your browser, and we do not use them to identify individual visitors.

Checking for yourself

You do not have to take our word for any of this. Open your browser’s developer tools, look under storage or application, and see what is there. On a fresh visit it should be empty. If it is not, we would like to know about it.

If you have a question about any of this, write to contact@lastqubit.com.
